2008 Business Meeting Cancelled

Having heard from a number of Board members, as well as from our Reunion coordinators, I've come to the following conclusions:

1. We don't have a sufficient amount of squadron business to generate a productive meeting.

2. If we did hold a meeting, even a non-productive one, we wouldn't have a sufficient number of Board members present to make any formal business decisions.

3. Carter and Jim, having been trained by me, have the situation well in hand and don't need the Board's oversight.

4. Dick is in contact with Karen Steele so if I'm wrong about item 3, he will take care of it.

5. With the money we'll all save by not going to Branson for a non-productive 2008 business meeting, we can make generous contributions to the Association.

Therefore, I officially cancel the planned 2008 planned business meeting for May in Branson.

John, please revise the newsletter accordingly.
